Your body was put through tremendous stress and changes during pregnancy. Confinement Care aims to provide essential physical, emotional, and practical support to new mothers during a significant life transition. It can contribute to a smoother recovery, increased confidence, and a positive start to the mother's journey into motherhood.
Cocoon Confinement Care is here to help.
Confinement nannies are experts in baby care and have been consistently hands-on in this field. You may have volunteered help at home which domestic helpers, mothers or mother-in-law may not have the relevant skillset for baby hygiene/care.
You deserve your rest and being too physical in the first month might add stress to your already overwhelmed body. The first month after delivery is often considered the critical period to eat and sleep well for optimal recovery.
Here, a confinement nanny provides you with the assistance you are looking for. Some responsibilities include:
Baby care round the clock
Baby Bath and hygiene
Newborn care guidance and advice especially for new mothers
Breastfeeding guidance and advice also usually applicable for new mothers
Preparation of nutritious postpartum meals
Preparation of herbal bath
Preparation of confinement food and tonic
Laundry for mum and baby
Basic domestic chores
Basic grocery marketing for mothers
You will be able to search for the employment agency in the MOM EA Directory, just like how Cocoon Confinement Care has been authorised to operate legally.
A comfortable timeline would be 6 months before your estimated delivery date. This timeline would allow Cocoon Confinement sufficient time to find out your requirement and secure a suitable nanny.
You can choose to let nanny sleep in the same room as baby and yourself. Alternatively you can have her sleep in a separate room as well.
Depending on your comfort level, nanny can also sleep with baby so you can have your deserved rest.
Cocoon Confinement Care will provide a suggested list of items required for in-house confinement services. These include kitchen equipment, tools for baby care, consumables for newborn bath preparation, herbs for mother’s bath and ingredients for meals/tea. After which you can just sit back and let the nanny do the rest.
